Whangara farm trip.

On the 11 of June 2018 we went to Whangara to learn about the different grasses they planted.Andrew showed us the boxes that he uses to measure the grass he also measured the grass with a technology measurer thing, some of us got a turn...i did.In the nursery there was willow and popolas.Willows helped stop the erosion happening by the river banks and popolas help by stopping the erosion happening by the hills. After we had a look at all the plants we got some dirt to do some tests when we get back to school i had heaps of fun and hope i go back.
